Genesis Emotionally Charged
Text: Genesis 1:26-31
Theme: Learning how God made us so that our emotions don’t lead to sinful decisions.
As I was reading Genesis I noticed how many sinful decisions were made when someone was living according to their emotions
Emotions, in and of themselves, are not sinful. Sin enters the 
picture when someone makes wrong decisions because of their emotions
How you were created (Gen 1:26-31)
How you were created impacts how you make decisions
God did not simply create you with emotions/feelings
God created you with the ability to reason
God also created you with the ability to have a relationship with God
Let’s look at an example (Gen 37:1-8)
Emotions unbridled almost always leads to sin against yourself,  others and/or God
