Theme: Trusting in God’s sovereignty will draw you closer to Him.
Psa 139:17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! 
how great is the sum of them! 18 If I should count them, they are 
more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee. 
JER 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith 
the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an 
expected end.

There are often truths in God’s sovereign plan for our lives that 
we overlook
Grow through your trial to the benefit of others
God’s sovereignty understood (vv. 10, 11)

If you don’t trust Him you won’t praise Him
