IT’S GOD’S WILL THAT YOU FIND THE WAY OF ESCAPE

Text: Genesis 39:1-12
Theme: It’s God’s will that you abstain from sin by finding a way to 
escape.
? What is the one point I am trying to get across?
In the midst of God’s will there will be trials to suffer and 
temptations to sin
I. In the will of God, you will face difficult trials 
A lot happens in Genesis 37 when Joseph is just 17 years old (vv. 
2-5, 19-23
II. In the center of God’s will, you will face sinful temptations 
(39:1-12)
During times of trials and frustration temptation can be very 
difficult
1 COR 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is 
common to man… STOP JAMES 1:14 But every man is tempted, 
when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 
ROMANS 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and MAKE 
NOT PROVISION FOR THE FLESH, TO FULFIL THE LUSTS THEREOF.
