The Will of God “Found”
Text: Genesis 27-33
Theme: God accomplishes His will in the most unique situations. 
Jacob – supplant, overreach, circumvent assail, take by heel
Jacob had twice supplanted his brother, Esau (Gen 27:36, 41)
Laban had “supplanted” Jacob 10 times (Gen 26:16-20, 31)
The question I have for you, “Was it God’s will for Jacob to marry Leah?” 
God uses circumstances to present and direct His will
Jacob showed a strong favoritism for Rachel (Gen 33:1-7)
Two final thoughts…
God blesses and uses those that the world finds unattractive and 
those the world rejects
Leah was never good enough… BUT THE BEAUTY OF LEAH 
WAS FOUND IN CHRIST
Through our path of selfish decisions God can still work an artistic 
tapestry of beauty
