The Will of God “Found”
Text: 1 Peter 3:1-7
Theme: God specifically has a will for those married to those that 
aren’t Christians.
The will of God has a lot more to do with your heart than your life. 
Meaning, if your heart is in the right place; your life will be in the 
right place.
But what if I made a decision when my heart wasn’t right with 
God, and I made a decision that was wrong according to what God 
has commanded?
What do I do if I married someone who wasn’t/isn’t God’s will for 
me? 
God’s will is to remain married… 1 Cor 7:12-14
God’s will is that you allow your life and testimony to be a witness 
to them (1 Pet 3:1-7)
? Are you looking to get married? Look at what God says about 
marriage. Eph 5:22-33; Col 3:18, 19
? What do I look for in a spouse? Spiritual, personality, emotions, 
and appearance
? What do we do if we are both saved, but our marriage is 
struggling?
