DISCERNING GOD’S WILL FOR YOUR LIFE

The Will of God “Found”
Text: Hebrews 1:11-10
Theme: Exercise how to live by total dependence on God.
It’s the will of God for all mankind to be saved
It’s the will of God that all creation glorifies God
It’s the will of God for all Christians to be involved in the Church
and its ministries (evangelism & edification)
It’s the will of God that you maintain the opportunities that the 
Lord gives you and that you obey His commands
It’s God’s desire to have a relationship with you – even after you 
have disobeyed Him (pursues, forgives, restores)
The “will of God”. That can be a broad subject can’t it? How do we 
discern the will of God for our lives? 
Example of Noah (Gen 6:13-15)
Example of Abram/Abraham (Gen 12:1-3)
 So, the will of God is not something that He hides from us, 
but something that He reveals to us 
Discerning God’s will and living by faith (Heb 11:1-10)
I believe the reason God causes it to be that way is so that we 
live by faith and live in dependence upon Him
