The Will of God “Found”
Text: Genesis 3:5-22
Theme: God’s desire is to offer forgiveness and restoration when 
you sin.
God’s will for your life equals God’s desire for your life
God does have a will for your life after sin. That will/desire is that 
you would walk in fellowship with God through His forgiveness and 
restoration 
Sin opened the eyes of mankind to good and evil (Gen 3:5-7, 22)
 What Satan presented as a positive resulted in a negative 
result 
? What were the actual results of Adam and Eve’s sin?
God actively pursues and restores those that sin against Him
The state of their innocence was gone, but God did not leave 
them to drift in guilt and despair 
What does this look like in your life? How can you apply it?
Some of you spend far too much time, looking at yourself and 
not nearly enough time looking at the Lord who offers you 
forgiveness, restoration and the power to overcome your sin
Since God forgives and helps to restore others, then He wants 
us to also seek to restore those that have sinned
