The Will of God “Found”
Text: Genesis 3:1-6
Theme: The reason we sin and don’t obey God.
A sovereign God has a perfect will for your life – Why is it that you
have the boldness to say, “Not so Lord”
The will of God is that you carefully maintain the life and 
opportunities that God has given you
The will of God is simply to obey
Genesis 2:8, 9, 15-17; 3:1-6
What makes us so bold that we would say, “Not so Lord”?
Deceive, disobedience, and death (Genesis 3; 1 Tim 2:14)
Lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, pride of life (1 John 2:15, 16; 
Gen 3:6)
Drawn away, enticed, entangled (Jam 1:14, 15; Rom 7:18)
The world, the flesh, and the devil (Eph 2:2-3; James 4:1, 4, 5, 7)
The world – Heb 11:24-26; Daniel and friends
Devil – Wiles of the devil (Eph 6:11; 2 Cor 11:3, 14), Satan 
deceived Eve – completely (1 Tim 2:14)
Flesh – there are many devices in a man’s heart (Prov 19:21; 
Jer 18:12) that which is right in his own eyes (Prov 12:15; 
16:2; 21:2)Romans 7:18
