Sermon 3: Stewardship of Your Life
Text: Exodus 3 & 4, Jeremiah 1
Theme: You must trust in the Lord to be used in His service.
Everything that God has created is meant to bring glory to Him (Job 
37:13; Psa 135:4)
God has created three institutions (family, government and the 
Church). Within each institutions we have ways in which we are to
be responsible stewards
Moses and Jeremiah are just two examples of how God wanted to 
use someone and they objected and made excuses why they 
couldn’t be used the way God intended
Let me introduce you to their stories
? What’s wrong with this picture? God is trying to convince 
Moses to obey and serve Him
The primary temptation IS NOT to just say, “No, Lord!” The 
primary temptation is to look at ourselves instead of looking at 
the Lord
? How will God be glorified when you allow Him to use you? How 
does your obedience or willingness to be used please Him?
