Sermon 1: Stewardship of Your Life
Text: Proverbs 3:1-10
Theme: The first test of trust is your finances.
Over the next three weeks I would like to discuss biblical 
stewardship of your finances, your time, and your talents. 
Stewardship is when someone manages that which belongs to 
someone else. In the case of this study we will be looking at how 
you need to biblically manage what rightfully belongs to God.
Proverbs 3 a message from a father to his son
I. The trust principle (vv. 5-8)
We are commanded to trust and then shown what that looks 
like
II. The honour principle (vv. 9, 10)

When we give to the Lord we are giving back to Him what is 
already rightfully His
If you can’t trust God with your finances, how can you ever 
trust Him with your soul?
