Sermon 30: How to have a Genuine Relationship with God
Text: Psalm 63
Theme: The only ones that are satisfied with God are those that are seeking God.
The background of the Psalm is not beautiful, but it adds beauty to the Psalm (2 Samuel 15-18)
Ps 63:1 … my soul thirsteth for thee… 5 My soul shall be satisfied (with thee)... 8 My soul followeth hard after thee…
Instead of focusing on life David focuses on his soul
I. Are you seeking God and God alone? (vv. 1-4, 8)
To seek for God and only for God you must have confidence that God is all that you need
David didn’t want to see the sanctuary of God, he wanted to see the God of the sanctuary

II. Are you satisfied with God and God alone? (vv. 5-7)
