SENIORS, GOD HAS A PURPOSE AND A PLACE FOR YOU

5/18/2025-Morning Worship

Text: Joshua 13 & 14

Theme: Seniors must determine to still be available for the Lord.

Two messages today where I will focus on our seniors

Col 1:28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: 29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

I. Joshua was old, but not out (Josh 13:1, 7)

Joshua was 43-50 when he spied out the land. He was 85 when they began to conquer the land. Now he was about 100 and would live to be 110 (Josh. 24:29)

The key to serving long is staying surrendered

II. Caleb was a senior, but still surrendered (Josh 14:6-12)

45 years later he was still seeking for the Lord’s promise through Moses to be delivered unto him

Caleb: Physically strong, Mentally strong, Having a strong will

Cross puzzles, Bible Assembly, J&R to Vets, organizing Church, welcome center, writing notes, teaching & helping, visitation

Seniors, may Psalm 71 be a psalm of declaration for you
