The beginning of the year is always a good time to shore up some things in our lives
Heb 2:1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
I. Fathers – keys to becoming the virtuous man
The Hebrew word more frequently describe men – especially men of war – army, man of valour, host, forces, valiant, strength – a strength that is prosperous
Several truths stand out in Proverbs: 1:8, 10, 15; 2:1; 31:28
Men, do you really expect your children to grow up to love God and love their mother if you don’t show value to her?
II. Mothers – key to becoming a virtuous woman
Keys to staying busy (vv. 13-24, 31) – focuses on what you do
Keys to truly being virtuous (vv. 10-12, 25-30) – focuses on who you are
Ladies, don’t concern yourself with what others are doing…
Ladies, don’t concern yourself with what others think, but how does it impact your family
