Text: 2 Corinthians 1:3-6
Theme: The Church has a need to help one another.
Mt 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth... 14 Ye are the light of the world. ... . 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
I. God is expecting you to edify others (vv. 3-6)
Are you trying to comfort others w/ the knowledge you have of Christ?
II. Others are in need of your knowledge of Christ (v. 4)
? Why might one Christian know something about Christ that another Christian doesn’t know?
Key verses: Eph 4:29 then 12-16
Application: You have to see the value of a Church body
You have to be willing to fellowship w/ others
You have to be willing to share truths about Christ that you have learned
Listen to sermons, read for truths that will not only help you, but help others also
