Psalm 144

The beauty of studying Psalms – Psalms are unique

Their background is not usually found in the Psalm or context

Revealing the psalmists relationship with the LORD

They are personal, reflective, soul-searching, soul-exposing, honest

There are five books of Psalms

Psa 1-41, 42-72, 73-89, 90-106, 107-150

Psalms are written from several perspectives – sometimes within the same Psalm

The psalmist speaking to God, himself, others

Recording what the enemy is saying

Recording what the Lord is saying
