Text: Genesis 6-8
Theme: God provides deliverance from judgment through 
forgiveness. 
Last week the focus was on Adam and Eve and how a sacrifice was 
needed for their forgiveness. Today this passage focuses on how 
salvation is deliverance from judgment 
All mankind must be judged because of sin (Gen 6:3-7)
NOTICE the contrast of what was going on in man's heart to 
what was going on in God's heart
JER 18:10 If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then 
I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.

God has provided a way of salvation to escape the judgment (Gen 
6:8, 9)
