THERE MUST BE A SACRIFICE FOR SIN

Genesis and the Gospel
Text: Genesis 3
Theme: God provided a sacrifice.
From the beginning there was sin. So, from the beginning there 
must have been THE GOSPEL
The sinfulness, the shame and the separation
of mankind (vv. 1-8)
Their conscious was awakened; shame set into their hearts
The seeking of the Saviour (v. 10)
Notice, man didn’t seek God to ask for forgiveness… (Psa 14:2, 
3). These points are so important that they are repeated three 
times in the scriptures – almost word-for-word
Think about it. Adam and Eve were now sinners and God 
wanted a relationship with them
The sacrifice for mankind (vv. 15, 21)
