Theme: The whole universe is commanded to praise the Lord.
Praise mentioned 13 times and has “bookends” that say, “Praise ye the Lord”
I don’t like breaking Psalms into points, but sometimes it’s obvious
Ps 148:1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights. 7 Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:
I. Let the celestial praise the Lord (vv. 1-6)
Ge 1:7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
They praise Him by fulfilling what He created them to do
II. Let the terrestrial praise the Lord (vv. 7-14)
