Psalm 145-150 – Filled with Praise
Text: Psalm 147
Theme: God does so much in so many ways.
I believe sometimes we work too hard at breaking Psalms down into points by verses when it may be better divided by themes or subjects
I. The call to praise (vv. 1, 7, 12, 20)
These verses don’t just mention praise; they call people to praise
II. The cause for praise (vv. 2-4, 6, 8, 9, 13-19)
By my count this Psalm mentions 24 things that God does
There are things in this Psalm that you might already know
There are things in this Psalm that you may never have thought of
Ps 147:5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.
