Luke 17:1-4

Many homes across America and in churches today are filled with hatred, anger and have become destructive.

Consider the story of Joseph (Genesis 37:4-11; 50:19-21)

So, when someone sins against you, you have a choice as to how you will respond

Key biblical truths regarding responding to offences (Luke 17:1-4)

1.   All are offenders

2.   It’s impossible to go through life w/o being offended – So let’s learn what to do

3.   Your first concern must be your own response

4.   Your aim should be to raise their value (help them) through change, not to hurt them

5.   Those that repent should be let go

Is your goal to help them become more Christ-like or is your goal to hurt them and hinder them from growing?

Will you respond biblically?

Will you respond like Christ?
