God not only created male and female, He also created marriage

In creating Adam and Eve He created two individuals.
In creating marriage He joined those two individuals into one
One flesh… no other creation of God is “one flesh” union
Marriage is a union
Marriage is a covenant relationship

Marital love isn’t an act of emotion, but an act of the will
Emotions cannot be permanently sustained
