5/25/2025-Sunday School

Lesson 4: Leading Souls to Christ

Text: 1 Thessalonians 2:1-13

Theme: Seeing a biblical example of how to share the Gospel.

Have you ever read what it looks like and how the Apostles acted when sharing the Gospel? We can learn much, especially from Paul’s expressions in 1 Thessalonians 2 and 1 Corinthians 2.

My responsibility is to share the Gospel (Great Commission)

BUT my ultimate goal is to rightly represent Christ

The Great Commission doesn’t command me to win the lost, but to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ

I. Your ultimate goal is to rightly represent Christ (2 Cor 5:18-21)

U Your ultimate goal is not to lead a soul to Christ. Your ultimate goal is to glorify God by rightly representing Him

II. A biblical example of your ultimate goal (1 Thess 2:1-13)

Other key passages include 1 Thess. 1:5, 6 & 1 Cor. 2:1-5
