Dear Praying Friends,
2022 has been a good year for Amazing Grace Baptist
Church. The Lord blessed several evangelistic outreaches
including a Christ Conference (over Resurrection Sunday),
Singspirations at local parks, a Revive America Conference, fair
evangelism, Police Appreciation day, door-to-door visitation,
Bible studies, and more. People were saved, baptized, and added
to the church membership. The Lord protected and provided for
our family as Daniel underwent his third and final heart surgery
(more on that below). God is very good.
November 20th marked our annual Thanksgiving Praise
Service. For some present, it was their first time ever
participating in a praise service. We were very encouraged to
hear person after person give praise to God for all that He has
done in their lives.
Christmas was a special time as well. Daniel recovered so
quickly that we were able to fully participate in family Christmas
gatherings. We took Daniel to church for the first time postsurgery
the week before Christmas. Everyone was amazed and
excited to see Daniel again. We held a single service on
Christmas morning. Nearly all of the regular people were in
attendance. Everyone enjoyed fellowshipping over Christmas
cookies, coffee, and hot chocolate. Afterwards, we presented a
Christmas program called The Whole Christmas story, which
included Christmas Carols, Scripture readings, and an
explanation of Jesus’s birth, death, and resurrection.
There are many opportunities before us as we look ahead. In
addition to repeating several of the evangelistic outreaches from
last year, we are planning to hold monthly Young Single’s
activities/Bible studies in our home. Please pray with us that
these events will point their lives in God’s direction during this
pivotal time in their lives.
Thank you all for investing both financially and prayerfully in
our family. The Lord blessed greatly in 2022 and we are excited
for even greater blessings in the year ahead.
In Christ,
Adam, Rebekah, and Daniel Shedal
