What does Lamentations 4:3 mean? Are there any cross references to help us understand?
Last week’s lesson – We look at how the people were usually defeated before their city was destroyed
We can’t truly understand the heart and the mindset of the Jews – especially yearly as have a day of remembrance – Tisha B’Av (7/26, 27/23)
First temple stood 410 years and was destroyed in 586 BC Second temple stood 420 years… destroyed 70 AD
Both were defeated on the 9th day of AV in their respected years (Jer 52:12, 13; 2 Kings 25:8)
What verses in Lamentations 5 add to what was taught last week on how the people were often defeated before their city was destroyed?
