Is the cause hurt?
Bitterness comes when we fail (sometimes refuse) to respond biblically
God gives you the grace to handle every hurt biblically
When you are bitter you refuse to forgive someone who has sinned against you, so you sin against God
2. The casualties of bitterness
Bitterness is like drinking poison and hoping it kills the one you hate
Bitterness resolves to retaliate; forgiveness resolves to restore
