Theme: God gives you the grace to respond and think biblically in 
the midst of the trial.
The command to rejoice is a command of faith (v. 4)
God gives you the grace to be able to rejoice even in the midst 
of trials
 This is rejoicing while the trial is still happening
The command regarding “let your moderation be known” (v. 5)
God gives you the grace to be able to have a quietness in your 
spirit even in the midst of the trial
