THE STRONG HOLD OF UNBIBLICAL THINKING

Text: 2 Corinthians 10:1-6
Theme: Principles that deliver from unbiblical thinking.
PROV 18:14 The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a 
wounded spirit who can bear? 
We often wound our own spirit
Paul had established the Church, but it now had a number of issues 
that he had to previously address just three years after the Church 
was established (1 Cor 1:10, 11; 3:1-3; 5:1, 2; 6:5; 11:18)
Paul had heard from Titus and the Church had repented… but Paul 
was under heavy criticism by the false teachers that are now 
influencing the Church (10:10; 1:17, 18, 23)
“Context is king” Let’s understand the text and it’s purpose… to 
do that let’s learn the history…
Now what I would like us to do is to look at how this is often 
applied and personalized
We aren’t just simply giving an answer for sin, but strong holds
The reason I should experience victory is not because of what I
do, but because of what God can do through me
