The Book of Acts
Text: Acts 13:38, 39
Theme: The Gospel must be preached.
I will use the word “Gospel” to describe the message of salvation
The Gospel (good news) has always been a message of grace
through faith
Paul said that Abram and David were saved by grace
While the subject or the message may vary it’s all the Gospel
Key passages showing that the message of the Gospel has been
presented in several ways, but it was the Gospel
Mark 1:14, 15; Acts 15:7-11; Acts 10:22-44; Acts 20:24, 25
Peter witnessing to a Gentile may be of particular interest
Paul shared the Gospel with a mix of Jews and Gentiles (Acts
13:38. 39)
What do we know about Paul in Arabia?
Key passages: Gal 1:11-17; Acts 9:20-33
Paul wasn’t just spending years being instructed, but, while it is
mentioned, more is mentioned about his preaching in the area
near his conversion
What was Paul taught?
Gal 2:2; Eph 3:1-9
