Can you think of any passages that teach us to pray or promises 
answers to our prayers? 
Let’s establish biblical truths. How does God’s will interact with 
the prayers of mankind?
NUMB 23:19: God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the 
son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he 
not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? 
Having that much power through prayer, how much thought 
do you give before you pray?
DON'T JUST GIVE HIM YOUR TRIAL; ALSO GIVE HIM YOUR 
ANXIETY ABOUT THE TRIAL
Let’s consider the events that conclude Acts 12, which includes the 
death of Herod Agrippa I
