Text: Acts 9
Theme: While Saul persecutes the Church Christ confronts him.
I. The conversion of Saul (vv. 1-7)
II. The call (commissioning) of Saul (vv. 8-18)
A. A call to service (v. 15)
B. A call to suffer (vv. 16-18, 2 Cor 11:23-33)
Both seem to be given to Ananias first
The Lord used a vision to show Saul Ananias and a vision to 
show Ananias Saul
For three years Paul did not seek instruction from Jerusalem 
(Gal 1:16-18)
III. The change of Saul (vv. 19-43)
The “hunter” is now going to be “hunted”
Repentance is a change of mind that leads to a change in belief, 
relationship and destination
The New Testament clearly teaches that Jesus is both the 
Messiah and the Son of God (John 1:29-41; 4:25, 26; 20:31; 
Mark 14:61-64)
