Ananias and Sapphira – Believers or unbelievers?
One principle that I want you to notice is what influenced the decision of the world vs what influenced the decisions of the Christians
The religious leaders made their decisions based on fear
The apostles made their decisions based on pleasing God
Notice three key figures that become a major part of this story
Gamaliel – the “president” of the Sanhedrin (v. 34)
Theudas (vv. 35, 36)
Judas (v. 37)
Notice the truth spoken by Gamaliel even though he never repented and came to Christ (vv. 38, 39)
