Theme: False religions will oppose Christianity.
We discussed last week about what separation of Church and state is. What we find in Acts 4 is religious persecution by religious opposition
Religious confrontation (vv. 1-7)
Notice within the passage all those mentioned that were in opposition to the apostles (vv. 1, 5, 6, 8, 15)
In v. 7 when it says, “they asked” – stern questioning – “they kept asking”
Peter’s Holy Ghost filled response (vv. 8-12)
Peter takes this opportunity to declare Christ to them
