Text: Acts 2:14-40
Theme:
God has announced He was going to use preaching… The preaching included:
Old Testament prophecies were fulfilled
Christ was of the line of David
Christ died, was buried and resurrected
He is exalted to the right hand of the Father
He offers the forgiveness of sins
I. The words of Joel proclaimed (vv. 14-21)
Quoting Joel 2:28-32 I believe that Peter quoted two separate events so that he could get to v. 21
II. The words of Christ proclaimed (vv. 22-28)
The primary message is the resurrection of Christ
III. The words of David preached (vv. 29-40)
