Psalm 145-150 – Filled with Praise
Text: Psalm 145
Theme: Praise is the right response of everything God has created.
In today’s Christianity far too many Christians only praise God when things are going “their way”.
U Your praise as a Christian is to be based on the nature and character of God & in what God is doing
Let’s briefly consider one example: 1 Peter 1:3-9
Opening question… Is God great enough for you to talk about?
I. The people of praise (vv. 1, 2, 4-7; 10, 11, 21)
All of God’s creation shall praise Him
II. The purpose of praise (vv. 3-9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 21)
Let’s consider why our God is worthy of praise
Would you not conclude with me after hearing all these verses that there are so many things to praise Him for?
This praise it to be done every day for ever and ever (vv. 1, 2, 21)
