Text: 1 Peter 1:13-16
Theme: Holiness in the life of a Christian – displaying Christ’s righteousness.
Since we can’t improve upon Christ’s righteousness we must allow His righteousness to be seen in us. Or, allow His righteousness to shine through us
As we look at this text of scripture there is but one goal – holiness. It’s the Christians response to salvation
I. Why should I be holy?
A. It is commanded
B. It is Christ-like
C. It is worship
II. What is it to be holy?
If I were to tell you that you were commanded to be holy, what would that mean to you? What would be holy mean?
A. Sinless
B. Sanctified/separated
C. Strange(r) – distinctly different, UNIQUE
III. How can I be holy?
