Paul knew that the “thorn in the flesh” was to keep him humble
Psa 119:71 It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.
II. You must know that God’s Word says that He uses the various trials in your life to mature your faith (James 1:2-4)
Two other passages that teach parallel truths are: 1 Peter 1:6, 7 and Romans 5:1-5
